Site was made with React + Java Springboot backend.
Mobile App was powered by React Native + Expo for pushing updates
There’s also a web panel for client to easily made configurations and marketing changes for the site.
Skills learned:
- Used React and React Native professionally for a travel agency
- Learned to deploy and push updates with Expo
- Learned the whole tech side of the travel industry as a whole
- Learned to use Springboot Java mapper to map the multitudes of API required to make a travelling site
- Learned to be a tech soldier for production support, dealing with cutthroat client in resolving payment blocking issues on D-Day
- Learned to deal with ISO time-zones due to the nature of the travel industry
